Spiritual Warfare, Weapons and the Armor of God according to Scripture - What Does it Look Like?

An excerpt from Loren’s and my book,

“Doctrines of Demons: Exposing Christian Witchcraft, pages 219-224.

Spiritual Warfare According to Scripture

Because people are being misinformed and taken away from the Bible, let’s look at what spiritual warfare really is. It begins with basic, foundational doctrine, and continues with those basics.
First, it begins with a relationship with our Heavenly Father, something that is only made possible because of and through the work of Jesus Christ. The territory that being fought over, and what is gained or lost for the Kingdom of God or for the kingdom of Satan, is our hearts and minds; therefore, our purposeful fighting back against satanic forces (spiritual warfare) begins with salvation, and continues as we build a relationship with our Heavenly Father.
Second, we must have a genuine love for God and for the truth. Having a love for the truth is the basis for the strength to do the things that are of God. The Holy Spirit constantly works on our heart to compel us to follow the ways of God, but we have to daily make the choice to do and say the things that are of God, and to stay away from that which is contrary to God. The things of God are life-giving. When we practice the things that are not of God, these things not only begin to bring corruption to us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, but it also creates an open door for the enemy to enter. When we start behaving like the enemy, it is the same as saying “yes” to the enemy. It is the same as coming into agreement with the enemy, giving the enemy permission to infiltrate our entire self, resulting in us being molded into the enemy’s image. This can happen slowly, causing us to be less likely to realize what is happening, or to not even care, because the enemy can also feed our ego, or other self-centered, ego-based desires that we respond to. This is how the enemy takes territory: he captures our hearts and minds. If we have not submitted to and continue to submit to the authority of God, and if we do not allow the Holy Spirit to change us into His image, we will succumb to the tactics of the enemy.
Our hearts are the territory that influences the world around us. The battle is for our hearts and to rule our hearts! If the enemy can capture our minds — our attention and our focus — he can capture our hearts — our desires, our intentions, and what drives us forward.
According to Biblical standards, spiritual warfare looks like the following:
  1. James 4:7 — “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (BSB)
Submission to God begins at salvation when we come under His authority, and it continues throughout our life. Submission involves obedience to our Heavenly Father, something that is a daily activity. (To study what the word "submit" means: http://biblehub.com/greek/5293.htm )
Resisting Satan means that we stand in a 180 degree, contrary position to what he stands for, and we refuse to back down or give up our ground on what we know to be truth. (To study what the word "resist" means: http://biblehub.com/greek/436.htm )
  1. 1 Peter 5:9 — “Resist him [the adversary], standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.” (BSB)
There’s that word again — resist. Oppose what is not of God, and stand firm without wavering, refusing to compromise.
And here’s another important command: stand firm in our faith. What faith? Faith in our salvation through Jesus Christ, and because of this, in our relationship with our Heavenly Father (see: http://biblehub.com/greek/4102.htm). Faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, and as you develop a relationship with Him that is built on submission and obedience to His will, this fruit will become evident in your life.
  1. Ephesians 4:27 — “…and do not give the devil a foothold.” (BSB)
In this verse, the word “foothold” means, “a place, region, seat; an opportunity.” It also means, metaphorically, “opportunity, power, occasion for acting.” In other words, don’t give Satan an opportunity to gain power and control over you, and don’t give him an occasion for acting through you in your life. (To study what the word "foothold" means: http://biblehub.com/greek/5117.htm )
  1. Ephesians 6:13 — “Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand.” (BSB)
Many Christians know of the verses that come right after this one and this verse is often overlooked. But the importance of this verse cannot be overstated: when you have taken a position that is contrary to the enemy, hold your ground and don’t give up. It is about knowing what is right, and refusing to compromise. It’s about standing firm.

(To study "withstand" and "stand":
http://biblehub.com/greek/436.htm  and http://biblehub.com/greek/2476.htm )
  1. Ephesians 6:14-18 — “Stand firm then, with the belt of truth fastened around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness arrayed, and with your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition. To this end, stay alert with all perseverance in your prayers for all the saints.” (BSB)
These verses are very often used to foster a warrior mentality within many charismatics who are being used by the demonic, and the weapons mentioned in these verses are also often spoken of as having been “imparted and activated,” usually by another individual who has a supposed “power or authority” to do this. The weapons used by such people also need or require occasional “upgrades,” but since these upgrades are said to come about as they get a “spiritual promotion,” they don’t see the fact that their weapons need occasional upgrades to mean that they are, in fact, inferior and weak. (See also, Spiritual Results of Realm Expansion and Spiritual Promotion.)
However, let’s just look at these verses in a very simple way, getting to the heart of what is being said here.
First, we are told to “stand firm.” There’s that word again — stand. Don’t compromise.
Second, our weapons are not a belt around the waist of our spirit man, a bright and shiny breastplate protecting his or her chest, and some heavy-duty army boots. Our spirit man doesn’t have a shield or a sword, and he or she doesn’t strap a helmet on every morning. Paul was simply using very powerful imagery to help his audience understand how each of these elements protect us from the enemy.
Our weapons are: truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the Word of God. These are our weapons!
But wait! There’s more! Let’s not neglect to continue reading. We are also admonished to be in constant prayer and petition to our Father, and to stay alert, persevering in prayer for one another. These also are weapons.
  1. 1 Thessalonians 5:8 — “But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of our hope of salvation.” (BSB)
This verse speaks to faith and salvation as being our weapons, and it also brings in love as being a weapon! This is not “love” that allows us to beat people up with the Word of God (or anything else) because we claim to “love them so much.” If you are confused about what love is, go to 1 Corinthians 13:
“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a ringing gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have absolute faith so as to move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and exult in the surrender of my body, but have not love, I gain nothing.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no account of wrongs. Love takes no pleasure in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
“Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be restrained; where there is knowledge, it will be dismissed. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial passes away.
“When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside childish ways. Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.” (BSB)
And for even more study, you can read the entire book of 1 John. It speaks of love all throughout — what it is and what it isn’t.

So according to these few verses we just studied, the spiritual weapons that protect us from the attacks of the enemy are:
  1. Salvation — this is found through faith, and is by the grace of God that is made possible only through Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:4-10)
  2. Submission to the Father — this involves coming under His authority and being obedient to His Word.
  3. Opposing what is of Satan — refusing to be moved from our position of opposition against Satan; not compromising.
  4. Not allowing Satan to have opportunity to gain power or control over us. You could think of this as keeping the “gateways” to your spiritual space closed, in other words.
  5. Truth — truth is found in the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth that will lead us into all truth. (John 16:13)
  6. Righteousness — not our righteousness, but the righteousness that comes from God, by faith, through Jesus Christ.
  7. The gospel of peace — this is the peace and assurance we have because of our salvation through Jesus Christ, and our ability to remain at peace no matter the circumstances surrounding us. This can also mean “wholeness,” which, it must be pointed out here, is in direct opposition to the brokenness that surrounds the “Spirit Man” theology. (To study what the "gospel of peace" means: http://biblehub.com/greek/2098.htm and http://biblehub.com/greek/1515.htm )
  8. Faith.
  9. Love.
  10. The Word of God.
  11. Prayer and petition to God.
  12. Persevering in prayer for one another.

These are our weapons, and while there may be a need for the weapons that come from Satan to have upgrades, there is no need for the spiritual weapons that come from God to have upgrades. In fact, 2 Corinthians 10:4 says, “The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” (BSB)

Divine power.” Does this sound weak to you? Our spiritual weapons that come from our Heavenly Father and are given to us by His Spirit are not weak. They don’t need occasional upgrades, and if you think they do, you have been deceived by Satan, and have traded in the weapons of God for the weapons of Satan.
Therefore, let us wage spiritual warfare the way Scripture teaches us, not the way the enemy would have us. The spiritual warfare that many are waging today is ego-driven, fear based, retaliatory against people, and is coming from a spirit of witchcraft.
A Biblical viewpoint on spiritual warfare begins with the state of our heart, and manifests as a firm, unwavering opposition to the things of Satan, and a refusal to allow him to influence our minds and control our hearts. True Biblical warfare puts the focus on our relationship with our Heavenly Father, dependence and faith on Him to protect and defend us, and the peace and assurance that no matter what happens, our salvation is secure in Him.

A Current Example of Occult Infiltrators Infecting Mainstream Christianity

Loren Grace offers commentary on a current example of occult infiltrators.

“Christian” tarot cards?

This is where mainstream “christianity” is headed, and what much of mainstream “christianity” is beginning to accept and endorse.

I’m not going to rehash what has already been written in the above websites, so if you want to know what I’m talking about in this blog article, you will have to first read the above sources. 😊

The above websites have done a great job exposing this occult activity that is being thinly disguised as “christian,” and which is being practiced by self-proclaimed “christians.” However, I must say that this occult organization (Christ Alignment) does not resemble true Biblical Christianity whatsoever. From what I have seen of their writings, their videos, their philosophies, and even the language they are using, they very closely resemble Luiciferians. “Illuminists,” in other words. This is my own opinion based on my observations and on my experiences and personal understanding concerning this type of false doctrine.

I’m aware they likely call themselves “Christian,” but they are not. They may be following a Christ (on their public Facebook page, they use the common Luciferian term “the Christ“), but it is obvious by their practices that they are not following the true Jesus Christ.

I also called myself a “Christian” growing up and well into my twenties and thirties, and I truly thought I was. But fundamentally, this was just a cover. I was actually being immersed in and taught Luciferian doctrine, and was being used as an occult infiltrator in the astral realms, working alongside the demonic and the fallen angels (what many call “ascended masters,” or some other such deceptive term).

Carolyn, when she was an illuminist and a conscious occult infiltrator, also called herself a “Christian,” but she was not.

We both loved God and thought we were doing right, but we were not!

God has since delivered and saved both of us, and we are now followers of the true Jesus Christ, but I say these things to remind you that just because someone calls themselves a Christian does not mean that they are.

You can read our short testimonies here:

But although I won’t rewrite what the others have written, I just have a few things I’d like to add to the conversation as general observations.

The Word of God

How do “christians” get involved in things that are so blatantly occult and STILL call themselves Christians?

One little step at a time.

The moment you stop using the written Word of God as your plumb line whereby all other matters in your life align, that is the moment you start to succumb to the seduction of doctrines of demons. When your love for truth — not what feels good or sounds good, not what other people say is truth, not what you think or desire to be truth, but truth that comes from God and that is found in His Word — when your love for truth grows cold, and when you accept one small thing that doesn’t line up with God’s Word, then you start accepting other small things that don’t line up with God’s Word. Before you know it, you have been completely taken over by doctrines of demons and have fallen into delusion.

Find out for yourself what the Word of God says and what it means by studying and interpreting the Scripture properly and within context, then be obedient to His Word, and you won’t fall prey to doctrines of demons.

And if you realize that you have fallen prey to those ungodly doctrines, repent and turn back to God. There is forgiveness and there is healing.

Many Christians get involved in the things of the occult because they are motivated by the wrong things! This is such a simple concept, but people forget about it! They don’t  often think about the matters of the heart that are motivating themselves or others to do things and seek after things that are not of God!

Carolyn and I spoke about some common motivators in our book:

1. People are man-centered rather than God-centered

2. They are focused on:

Language Distortion

When an individual or smaller groups of people want to control the way larger groups of people think or act, they control the thoughts and actions to a large extent by controlling the language being used. We wrote about this in our book in the section “Doublespeak and Doublethink“:
“Those who are attempting to control the thoughts (perceptions) and actions of people, do so by giving certain words or phrases a new definition or a new application that is contradictory to the truth and to the meaning the listener attributes to the words or phrases. This is done with purposeful intent.”
This is not a new concept. It is a general type of mind-control and brainwashing technique widely used by many, and variations of this are common with occult infiltrators. A perfect example is the occult infiltrator who renames the things of the occult with “Christian-sounding” names, so that the ignorant Christian is fooled.

With this “ChristAlignment” group, there are two obvious examples I want to point out to you that illustrate this concept of language distortion within occult groups: the name “Christ Alignment” itself, and “Christian Destiny Cards.”

Christian Destiny Cards

When the term “Christian Destiny Cards” is being used, this is simply a perfect example of the occultist engaging in a type of “doublespeak” to cause you, the listener, to come to a conclusion that is opposite of what is really true. Obviously, these “destiny cards” are a type of tarot card deck. If you go to their own website, you will see that they describe these cards as being “more predictive and higher than most cards, and can address a current life question that you may have.”

They also say: “Card readings with Christalignment are always followed by the reader taking the client into an encounter in the highest realm. Often colour is seen and it is in this realm that answers come for poignant questions that clients have and lives are changed.”

I could write an entire blog to address these occult concepts, but since I wrote a whole book that addresses demonic doctrines, I will simply say this: the Bible teaches that we are to be led by the Spirit of God (the true Spirit of God, and not a counterfeit spirit!), and this does not include using cards to give us directions or to address any “life questions” we may have, no matter if the cards are called “Tarot Cards” or “Christian Destiny Cards.”

Bottom line, these “Christian Destiny Cards” are being used in the same way as tarot cards, but they have simply been repackaged to be appealing to “new-agers,” and to ignorant, ungodly “christians” who are not aligning everything up according to the Word of God.

So don’t be foolish and be misled like the ignorant or the unbelieving. A Tarot card by any other name is still a tarot card. I think that even Shakespeare might agree with that sentiment. 😊

Christ Alignment

“Christ Alignment” is simply another way to say “Christ Consciousness,” and is not an alignment with the true Jesus Christ, but with the antichrist.

The Bible makes it clear throughout Scripture, and by studying the life of the true Jesus Christ according to Scripture, that being in “alignment” with Jesus Christ means this: coming under His authority and following His example of denying yourselfdaily taking up your cross, and following Him, being in submission to the Father and walking in obedience to His Word.

And when we are in alignment with Jesus Christ (submitted to His authority), we find unity. (See: Unity)

Being in alignment with the antichrist, on the other hand, looks like this:

“For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.”
This is leading to what 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 says:
“The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder, and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.” (BSB)

Carolyn and I wrote about this “Christ Consciousness” throughout our book, and how people are connecting themselves to the spirit of the antichrist through the various doctrines of demons that are being taught.

While we spoke of specific occult doctrines — such as spirit man, realms, spirit travel, gateways, seat of dominion, et cetera — we did not and could not possibly list every single occult activity that “christians” are engaging in through these false doctrines. However, any and all occult activity will connect you to the demonic. It does not matter if you claim to be a Christian, or if the occult activity has been renamed to sound more Christian: occult activity will open you up to the demonic and will connect you to the spirit of the antichrist.

We talked about what this connection to the spirit of the antichrist looks like, and you can read about it here, but to just give you a quick overview, this connection is made when people open themselves up to the influence of the demonic in various ways. In the spirit-world this connection is literal, and from my experiences, it looks like a thin cord of golden light that comes from a point of the person’s body, either from the forehead or the chest area. The demonic take this cord and literally (in the spirit realms) hook the person up to the spirit of the antichrist.

Through this cord, they control the individual by giving a type of “spiritual drug” that influences them. You can read about this spiritual drug here as well as here. But to remind you, here’s what this process entails:

1. The demonic entities using the human (also known as a vehicle) have a spiritual cord attached to the human, giving them access to the whole person, spiritual and physical, including the ability to manipulate the nervous system and the endocrine system.
2. Through that cord they transfer a type of spiritual energy that affects the human’s neurotransmitters, impacting them in the same way it would if they were to take a physical drug that altered their brain chemistry.
3. Satan’s members then have the ability to artificially boost a person’s mental and emotional state, causing the brain to release a type of opiate that makes them feel positive and good. People can mistake these positive emotions as something spiritual, and be encouraged to continue down the path that the influencing entities are leading them down.
4. The entities using that human can also use the brain connection to affect their human negatively when they are moving off course. The person will notice an undesirable difference in feeling, encouraging them to avoid the things which the influencing entities want them to avoid. This negative reinforcement works the same way the positive reinforcement does, and keeps them on the path the influencing entities desire them to go.

Visualization — Opening Yourself Up to Demonic Messages

Here is a video where you can see the technique employed by “Christ Alignment” team member, who I believe is named “Nan.” (direct link: https://videopress.com/v/iam0P1Gi)

There’s a lot going on here, but I have a few basic things to point out.

What you are seeing in this video is the occultist, Nan, taking a client through a “visualization” exercise, along with a type of “laying on of hands,” by painting a word picture for the woman to visualize and then mentally enter into. This is an exercise that is inducing a hypnotic-like state, also known as a “meditative state,” or a “state of dissociation.” As a result of this hypnotic, meditative state, the woman is purposefully opening her mind to being susceptible to the suggestions that Nan is giving her.

Notice how Nan keeps prompting the woman to see more about what she is visualizing. She’s not actually telling her much of anything (at least not in this video clip), except to first give the woman a mental picture, and to then instruct the woman to “be there” in that picture. Aside from the initial mental picture that she described in some detail, Nan is not outright telling the woman what to see. But she is leading her. As the woman follows the instructions that Nan is giving her, she is opening her mind to being more receptive to the mental picture. Through her imagination, she becomes absorbed in that mental picture, and as she opens her mind, the demonic then enter into her spiritual space and will provide even more visions and spiritual experiences.

Now, these visions are pleasing. You don’t hear her sharing inward visions of demons and hellfire… No! She is seeing a beautiful dove with a flowering plant in it’s beak. But this entire process is demonic, and she has just opened herself up to receive demonic messages. She has now entered into that “christ alignment,” has been hooked up to the spirit of the antichrist, and will likely continue to have or continue to seek after spiritual experiences, visions, et cetera, all of which will lead her incrementally down a road of destruction.

It is my prayer that the Spirit of God will show this woman that she has fallen into error, and that she will repent and find healing and freedom from the demonic ties that she has created.

This type of visualization technique is something that is very common with occultists, and is an easy way to learn how to engage in activities such as astral travel, and an easy way to have spiritual experiences, such as talking to a “Jesus” or to “angels” and going to “heavenly places.” These experiences and manifestations will further cementing in their mind that what they are involved in is real and is true.

However, we have said this before and it bears repeating: what is real is not always truth that comes from God, and good feelings do not necessarily equal Biblically sound and spiritually safe.

Don’t be misled by doctrines of demons. Don’t be led astray by the bright, smiling faces of those workers of darkness who come cloaked in a false satanic light. Don’t be fooled by the silver-tongued devils who promise to give you supernatural experiences that will bring peace and joy and love and answers to the questions you seek. Their peace is not lasting, their joy is not true, their love is not real, and the answers that you will find will lead to your eternal destruction, not to eternal life.

Seek after a relationship with your Heavenly Father, and He will give you His peace, He will give you His joy, and He will surround you with His love. What He gives is for your good. What Satan gives is for your destruction.

If you have been led astray by these doctrines of demons, and if you have been a worker of darkness masquerading as light, we urge you to turn to the Heavenly Father, repent of your sin, and seek a relationship with the Father that is based on the truth found within His Word that has been properly interpreted within context.

This is my prayer for you: that you will come to know the blessings and the true lasting joy and peace of a relationship with the Father as you walk in submission to His will and in obedience to His Word.

“Doctrines of Demons: Exposing Christian Witchcraft” Intro, Table of Contents, Summary of Tools

Reminder: We have made our book available to you for free to read on our blog or on PDF.  Follow this link for access: https://askcarolynandloren.com/book/.

Initially, our book was to be a response mainly to the questions Loren and I received asking for more detail as to why we dissociated ourselves from Bride Ministries, to serve as a warning to those who were still caught up in deception, and to offer hope and solutions to those who have been deeply wounded by that so-called “ministry.” But as Loren and I began writing, we quickly realized that since the web of deception goes much, much deeper than just one group of ungodly so-called “counselors and ministers” and much, much deeper than just one sham of a “ministry,” that the book would answer a lot of questions that people have sent to us. So this is why we keep referring people back to it.

So for those who don’t know what our book is all about, we want you to know: YES, this book will help you identify infiltrators, false teachers, and false doctrines. No, we don’t give you a list of names. We do make a passing reference to a small number of people, both alive and dead, but it is mainly for the purpose of referring you to to their respective websites, videos, or literature so that you can go and see for yourself where we got our information, and that what we write in our book is true. Even so, many of those references are indirect mentions. But although we don’t give you a list of people to watch out for, we do give you tools so that you can identify infiltrators, false teachers, and false doctrine that you come across.

SEE: Summary of Tools at the end of the Table of Contents.

Each concept builds on the one that came before, so in order to understand each topic, we suggest that you read the entire book, preferably from beginning to end, at least the first time around. It will be much more difficult to understand how each subject relates to the next if you aren’t able to grasp the foundational points presented in the sections that came before.

Summary of the Tools in Section One

Each concept builds on the one that came before, so in order to understand each topic, we suggest that you read the entire book, preferably from beginning to end, at least the first time around. It will be much more difficult to understand how each subject relates to the next if you aren’t able to grasp the foundational points presented in the sections that came before.
But to give you an overview, here are some of the tools Loren and I give you in Section One:
This chapter will help you understand and identify basic types of occult infiltrators, and outlines some of the fundamentals of how they operate.
This chapter will help you understand that there are many self-proclaimed Christians who are operating out of a spirit of witchcraft, how this takes place, and two big reasons why they and others are fooled: religious programming and demons or fallen angels who go by the name “Jesus” or other translations of the name. This will help you recognize these things in other people, as well as in your own life.
This short chapter will help you recognize some of the ways infiltrators are trying to lead you astray, and what Satan’s ultimate end-goal is.
This chapter will help you understand what the fruit of the occultist is and how it compares to the fruit of the Spirit. It can also help you recognize the false fruit of the occultist, and why their fruit is false, even though through our human understanding it sometimes can appear to be of God.

Summary of the Tools in Section Two

In Section Two, we give you more tools by describing six different ungodly motivations that we have noticed with charismatic occultists. However, these characteristics can be applied to anyone who is operating out of a spirit of witchcraft, regardless of whether they call themselves “Christian” or not. If people’s motivations are impure and if they are focusing on and seeking after the wrong things, then they are dangerously vulnerable to becoming entangled in false doctrine. So when you understand why these motivations do not line up with what is Scriptural, then you can recognize when you or others are susceptible to being led into occult doctrine.
The six different motivations of charismatic occultists that we detailed are:
2. They are focused on gifts and abilities and how to develop those gifts and abilities.
3. They desire spiritual experiences.
4. They seek after spiritual manifestations.
5.  They seek after going to heavenly places and supernatural realms. (Also see: “Supernatural Realms: the Origin.“)
6. They are warrior-minded, focused on a false spiritual warfare.
We are not saying these are the only motivators, but they certainly are the main ones that we have seen and experienced in charismatic occult circles. We have also seen and experienced that these motivating characteristics are fundamental within other occult groups that do not consider themselves to be “Christian,” so what we have written can be applied in different situations and to different groups. Use the knowledge about these motivators that we give you in our book to help you discern the spirit out of which others (and yourself) are operating.

Summary of the Tools in Section Three

Then in Section Three, we give you even more tools, and went into considerable detail with several teachings and practices that are common with charismatic occultists, and describing why they are occult. But again, these teachings and practices are not just within charismatic groups — they are foundational to the beliefs of many different types of occult groups, whether or not they claim to be Christian.
The teachings and practices we detailed are:
This teaching uses common occult principles that have been around for many, many years, and we go into detail describing them. If you hear people talking of the things that we write about in this chapter, regardless of whether they use the term “spirit man” or not, then you will know where they are coming from and why these teachings are dangerous and unscriptural.
This is a common charismatic occult teaching that has been renamed and repackaged slightly. It is very similar to the “little gods” teachings, and if you understand the content of this chapter, you will understand what this and similar teachings are all about.
In this chapter, we also go into detail concerning “realms,” because this is important to understanding what is going on in the spirit world and why it is happening when charismatic occultists (or any type of occultist) are channeling the demonic and engaging in so-called “kingdom building.”
As with the Spirit Man doctrine, if you hear people talking of the things that we expound upon in this chapter, regardless of the specific words they are using to describe those occult principles, then you will know where they are coming from and why what they are sharing with you is dangerous and ungodly.
This is a teaching that is nearly identical to the “third eye” teachings, and the results of engaging in this seat of dominion activity are indistinguishable as to what happens when the “third eye” or the “head/crown center” is opened. If you understand the contents of this chapter, you will understand what is really happening when you open yourself up to this deception, even when this occult doctrine is being sold to you in a “Christian” package. You will also be able to understand where self-proclaimed “Christians” are coming from when they start talking about the things we speak of in this chapter, and you will be able to discern that they are teaching occult doctrine.
This is an occult teaching that is heavily disguised in a “Christian” package, but if you understand the contents of this chapter, you will be able to recognize silver-tongued devils who claim to come in the Spirit of God, preaching the feel-good doctrines of theologies such as “gateways” that are absolutely contrary to the Word of God.
This chapter will help you understand that not everything that is real is of God, and you will be less likely to be swayed by experiences — either of others or of yourself — that do not line up with the Word of God.
This chapter will help you see that “spirit travel” and “seeing in the spirit” is just another term for what occultists often call “astral travel,” and in this way, when you hear of others speaking of this, you will understand what they are talking about and out of which spirit they are operating.
This chapter will open your eyes to this particular tactic of the enemy, and the reasons why people engage in this occult activity.
8. Angels
This chapter will help further reinforce what we have written in various places throughout the book, that these are not angels of God, but are demonic entities that are leading people into delusion and reinforcing that delusion. So when you hear people talking about angels, you will be better equipped to discern whether what they speak about is of God or not. Or, if you have an “angelic” encounter, you will be more likely to be discerning of such an encounter.
9. Jesus
This chapter will help further reinforce what we have written in various places throughout the book, that this is a false “Jesus” — an antichrist — that is leading people into delusion and reinforcing that delusion by leading people into spiritual experiences, activities, and doctrines that are not Biblical. If you read this chapter with understanding, you will be able to start discerning when others (or yourself) are following a false Jesus (an antichrist).
This chapter will help you understand that the charismatic “great cloud of witnesses” is simply a way to thinly disguise necromancy, and it explains some of the different ways this can take place so you can recognize this when you come across it with other people.
This chapter will help shed light on “spiritual warfare,” something that is common in today’s so-called “Christian” world. We explain why the modern-day charismatic “spiritual warfare” is not Biblical, and how to engage in Biblical spiritual warfare. If you read this chapter with understanding, you will be able to very easily spot people (including yourself) who are in error and being used by the demonic concerning such ungodly warfare.
This chapter briefly describes the ungodly, unbiblical teachings of “courtrooms of heaven.” If you read this chapter with understanding, you will know that when people speak of the types of things written about in this chapter, what they are engaging in is not of God.
As a reminder: because so many occult methods that we expose in our book are used in this “courtrooms” teaching, reading the previous content of the book will help you understand this chapter and why participating in this unscriptural teaching is so dangerous.

Summary of the Tools in Section Four

In this section, we give you different types of tools that will be helpful in many different ways to you personally, as well as give you an idea of the difficulties that some people have and why they are having those difficulties.
The people who will find this section most helpful are:
● Those who are dissociative.
● Those who have been deceived by the doctrines of demons presented in the first three sections, whether they are dissociative or not.
● Those who have friends and loved ones who are or have been deceived by doctrines of demons.
● Those who have sought out, are going through, or have gone through what is commonly known as “deliverance counseling.”
● Those who are helping survivors, whether as a support person, a friend, or a counselor.
● Those who simply want to educate themselves on the subjects presented in this section, as well as learn more about some key Biblical concepts.
In this chapter, we first explain reprogramming and programming and how this takes place through the doctrines of demons that we detailed in the first three sections.
☛ Reminder: Each concept builds on the one that came before, and it will be much more difficult to understand how each subject relates to the next if you aren’t able to grasp the foundational points presented in the sections that came before. Therefore, we highly recommend that you read the entire book from beginning to end, at least the first time around. 🙂
We then list several different types of end-time programming that we know of, and briefly explain how they work and why they are important to the overall plans of Satan. This chapter was not written with the intent to share a comprehensive list of end-time programming, but we wrote about the most important ones that we know of and have come across. They include:
This chapter is dedicated to helping people find freedom specifically from end-time programming that is connecting them to the spirit of the antichrist, and freedom from the control and influence of the demonic, including fallen angels. But the points in this chapter are basic, and can be used as a general outline on finding freedom and healing from a myriad of spiritual issues.
Since the issues for those who are dissociative are more deeply-rooted than for those who are not dissociative, we address these two groups of people in separate sections. However, both sections will be helpful to both groups of people.
This short chapter was written with the goal of “encouragement” in mind, and is directed specifically to the individual who is dissociative and having a difficult time extracting themselves from an ongoing relationship with the fallen. However, even those who are non-dissociative will find helpful the principles that we speak of in this chapter.
This chapter explains what can be expected after you renounce being in unity with the spirit of the antichrist, and as you renounce and cut the ties with the demonic and the fallen angels. The major points we address in this chapter are:
● The basic reasons for backlash.
● The types of backlash, including: demonic attacksdemonic visitationshuman attackshuman visitations, and backlash from the internal system of those who have dissociative disorders.
● How to deal with backlash.
Here, we give a short explanation that since being hooked up to and aligned with the spirit of the antichrist is much like being hooked up to an I.V. of narcotics, one unfortunate side-effect of disconnecting from or taking oneself out of alignment and agreement with Satan’s agenda can be withdrawals. This chapter is meant to encourage those going through withdrawals to recognize that while it is not comfortable, is it common, and that they can overcome this with the help of their Heavenly Father.
Since many people only use one Scripture to “test the spirits,” and since this “testing” is commonly misunderstood, this chapter will give you several other Scriptures that you can use to help you accurately and Biblically “test the spirits.” If you are armed (protected) with the truth of God’s Word that has been properly interpreted within context, you will not be likely to fall into deception from ungodly spirits and those people who are operating out of the demonic.
Many times, people get caught up in practicing witchcraft and the doctrines of demons that we write about in our book because they feel mired down in their problems and they feel as if their prayers aren’t effective. Therefore, they seek out people who claim to be effective at prayer, or seek out what are supposed to be “powerful prayers.” As we detail throughout our book, many times these things are witchcraft, or lead people into witchcraft, as they seek solutions to problems they have, but those solutions are based upon occult doctrines. This includes seeking out “deliverance ministries” that are not praying and operating according to Scripture, and using a false “spiritual warfare.”
Our response to this problem is to remind you of the solution: prayer according to the Word of God. In this chapter, we explain how the false “prayers” of occultists (and those who have been deceived by the doctrines of demons those occultists are teaching) are operating as witchcraft. And we point people back to the Word of God, doing a short study on what prayer should look like and sound like, using the example that Jesus gave to us as recorded in Matthew 6:5-15.
In this chapter, we give some more in-depth help and advise to those who suffer from dissociative disorders based on our experience and understanding. (Please read our full disclaimer.) This chapter will also be helpful to those who are counseling those who have dissociative disorders, as well as those who have family or friends with dissociative disorders.
The chapter is divided into two separate parts:
This section gives some general advise based on our own experiences and trials and errors that those who are dissociative will find very helpful. We share our thoughts about system work (how to do it and how to not do it); some advise about what we call “heavy work,” grounding and processing; some thoughts about support persons; and some additional thoughts for support persons.

Summary of the Tools in Section Five

The main tools in this last section are found in the first, third, and fourth chapters.
In this chapter, we share our very personal and painful journey of our experiences in “deliverance ministry,” and the true origin of the teachings on “realms” as our former “deliverance coach” taught (and, as of this writing, is still teaching and expanding upon). Although this chapter was very difficult to write, we wrote it with specific people in mind: those who have been or are currently being duped by the same “deliverance minister” and his team as we were, particularly within the so-called “counseling” situation.
Here, we list many different “buzzwords and phrases” that are commonly used by “christian” occultists, helping you to decode what they are talking about and to understand the true meaning behind some of their words.
We end the book with more Scripture warning those who are practicing witchcraft, even under a “christian” cloak, of what the Bible says concerning these occult practices. It is our prayer that these Scriptures will prick the heart of those who read them, encouraging them to turn back to God, repent of their sin, and walk in submission to the will of the Father and in obedience to His Word.

This is what being led by the Spirit of God looks like: having a relationship with your Heavenly Father and trusting in and being obedient to His Word. This is made possible only through Jesus Christ. (For more on being led by the Spirit of God, see Romans 8 and Galatians 5:16-25.)

But how can we be obedient to His Word if we don’t know His Word, and how can we discern what is against His Word if we don’t understand His Word? So then, discernment begins first by knowing and understanding the Word of God, and then by aligning everything with His Word (the Bible) that has been properly interpreted within context.

This is the beginning of discernment and it is vital!
The deception of the occult is not that it is not real. The deception of the occult is that it is not truth. But very often, particularly with so-called “Christian” occultists, Scripture is perverted and twisted out of context so that it appears to be true. Sometimes this perversion of Scripture is obvious, but many times it is not. That is why it is so deceptive! If it were obvious, it wouldn’t be deceptive! But if you learn to line everything up with the Word of God that has been properly interpreted within context, you will be less likely to fall for the tricks and lies of the enemy and for the tricks and lies of people who are being used by the enemy.
It is our hope and prayer that our book will help you recognize and discern the tactics of the enemy. But over and above even this, we hope and pray that our book points you to the Solution to every problem you face in life: your Heavenly Father.
We pray that the blessing of a relationship with your Heavenly Father will overtake you, that His will is done in your life, and that you learn to walk in obedience and in submission to His will.
